Pursuing Your Dreams While Having A Plan B
Hello, in my previous post I talked about having a PLAN B. https://zubelu.com/blog/is-having-a-plan-b-important-2 Plan B is an alternative path you can fall back on when the masterplan has not started yielding. For example you can be a fashion designer with the ultimate aim of owning your brand. Perhaps You know the usual startup capital might be a lot so you get a job and be saving little by little till you can start buying your necessary equipments. Also you can be sewing on the side.
In Nigeria of today, having one source of income is not cutting it anymore as bills and needs are rising day by day. The most important thing is to know what you are interested in. If you are the white collar job kind of person and you love shoemaking. As you wait for the job you can also be making shoes on the side.
The mistake most of us make is once we get that job, we abandon the side hustle but that should not be so. Even after getting the job, you should still continue your hustle.
That’s why I encourage most undergraduate while you are in university, develop an interest. Acquire the skill and start working. So by the time you are done with university, you would have achieved a lot. There is no manual on how it works but make sure you know what works for you.
Also don’t be so quick to quit your present job or means of survival because no matter what you need to eat.
Moreover do your research. Know what you need in terms of knowledge and capital needed to start your business so you can start saving towards your business.
The most important thing is know what you want to do with your life and don’t be scared to take a step. It takes time to achieve goals but have it at back of your mind that at the end of the day it’s all going to work out.
Stay true to your hustle and God would bless all of us
